E-invoicing prices in the Netherlands
What does it cost to send and receive Peppol e-invoices? From EUR 0 to a few tens of euros a month for a small business. The Dutch Peppol Authority notes that accounting software may include Peppol at no extra cost, that many service providers' invoice portals are often free, and that some packages send free but charge for receiving [1].

Four pricing models
- Flat: one amount a month, often with unlimited invoices (Informer, Jortt, Moneybird Start).
- Volume: you pay per tier of documents; some tools count received e-invoices too (Billit, Exact Online Factuur, Peppol Box).
- Per e-invoice: a fixed fee on every e-invoice sent or received, on top of the plan (Rompslomp).
- Per package or user: bookkeeping packages where Peppol comes with a given tier (SnelStart, Visma eAccounting, Twinfield).
How to compare fairly
- Excl. or incl. btw? Most Dutch prices exclude btw; some pages don't say.
- Yearly or monthly? Several entry prices only apply with a 12-month term.
- Send and receive? Cheap plans sometimes only send (Visma Factureren, eConnect's free portal).
- Invoicing only the Rijk? The government's Leveranciersportaal is free for up to 10 e-invoices a month, sending only and not over Peppol [1]. See invoicing the government.
