Cookies and browser storage
E-Invoice Map sets no cookies for visitors without an account: no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies, and no third-party ad or social-media scripts. Spanish law asks for consent only for what is not strictly necessary for a service you asked for [1][2]. Everything below is either strictly necessary or stored only after you ask for it, so there is no cookie banner.
-
Statistics are counted from our own web server log. No counting script runs in your browser and nothing is stored on your device for it.
-
Small items in your browser's storage (not cookies). They are never sent to us and can be cleared with your browser's site data:
- the language you picked, so the home page opens in it next time;
- for the current tab only: the numbers you checked in the lookup ("recent checks"), so you can repeat a check; the country you are browsing; a copy of the public site-wide counts, so they aren't fetched again on every page;
- whether you dismissed the "Install the app" box on the viewer page;
- if you claim a provider profile: a token for your claim, for 2 hours, in that tab only.
Filters on a provider list are not stored.
-
The offline app cache, only if you install the viewer as an app or press "Use offline" on the viewer page (we remember that choice in your browser until you turn it off). Your browser then keeps a copy of our own files in its app cache (Cache Storage, managed by a service worker): the styles, fonts and icons, the offline page, pages you have visited recently (at most 60), and the invoice viewer. These are copies of our public pages, not information about you, and nothing in them is sent to us. An invoice you open with the installed app, or share to it, is kept on your device only until the viewer has opened it. Uninstalling the app or clearing your browser's site data removes all of it.
-
Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form is filled in by a person. It runs in a frame from challenges.cloudflare.com and sees your IP address and browser signals. It serves security only, so it needs no consent; Cloudflare's own policy applies to what it does.
-
Paying. When you pay or manage a subscription, you leave our site for Stripe's own pages; Stripe's cookie policy applies there. Nothing of Stripe's runs on our pages.
If we ever add something that needs consent, we will ask first and update this page. See also our privacy policy.
If you have an account: logging in sets one strictly necessary cookie (em_session, HttpOnly) that keeps you logged in: it ends when you close the browser (or 12 hours after you last used the site, if that comes first), or lasts 30 days if you tick "Keep me logged in". It needs no consent. "Watch this ID" keeps the numbers you chose in your browser's storage for at most a day, only after you click it. If you pick a plan on the plans page, that choice is kept for at most a day, so it survives the login link. For the current tab only, the site remembers for a few minutes whether you're logged in, so the menu can say "Your account". Details: privacy notice for accounts.
Links marked “Ad”: we set no cookie when you click one. The affiliate network and the provider may set their own cookies on their own websites to record that you came from us; they fall under their privacy notices. See our privacy policy.
