How it works

Three steps. No account needed.

  1. Check

    about 10 seconds

Type a VAT or company number. We ask the Peppol network live and tell you if, and where, an invoice will arrive.

  2. Compare

    about 2 minutes

Say who you are and how many invoices you send. See the price at your volume, free plans and receiving costs.

  3. Choose

    no sign-up needed

Go straight to the provider. We never ask for your email to show a result.

Method

Why you can trust the numbers.

  • Neutral.

Ads and featured listings are labelled and never change the data, the lookup or the rankings.

  • Sourced.

Every date, obligation and price links to its official or vendor source.

  • Measured, with error bars.

Market shares come from our own checks on the live network, with 95% confidence intervals.

  • Private.

The viewer runs in your browser; the lookup sends only the number you type.

How we earn money

E-Invoice Map is independent and its tools are free to use. Some links are affiliate links, marked “Ad”: we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Featured listings are paid and labelled. Businesses can buy optional plans for customer-list monitoring, reports and an API. The order of lists never depends on payment. How we rank

FAQ

Questions.

Is this an official government site?

No. E-Invoice Map is independent and not affiliated with OpenPeppol, any tax authority or any provider. Every obligation and date links to its official source.

What is Peppol?

Peppol is the network businesses use to send each other e-invoices. Every company on it receives through a provider (an access point).

Why do sites show different totals for Peppol?

They count different things: identifiers or companies, the Peppol Directory or the network's own register, with or without test entries, and on different dates. Why totals differ

Do you store the numbers I check?

The lookup keeps the number you typed, the time and the result for up to 30 days (answers are cached for 24 hours), to answer and to stop abuse. You need no account for this, and the invoice viewer never uploads your file. Privacy policy

I am a provider. Is my listing wrong?

Every provider row has a “Correct this listing” link. Send the correction with a link to your own page: prices and features come from providers' own websites. Report a problem

Can I reuse your figures?

Yes. Our aggregate figures are free to reuse under CC BY 4.0, with credit. Press and reuse

About E-Invoice Map

E-invoicing is becoming mandatory across Europe and the Gulf. E-Invoice Map is a free, independent site that helps small businesses and their accountants answer three questions:

  1. Am I obliged, and from when?
  2. Which provider should I use, and is there a free or cheap option?
  3. Which provider does my customer or supplier use?

The tools are free, with no sign-up. We earn from clearly labelled affiliate links, featured listings and optional paid plans for businesses, never from the data itself. See About.

Free tools

Peppol lookup

Enter a VAT number, company number, TIN or Peppol ID to see whether a company can receive e-invoices on the Peppol network and which provider (access point) handles them. It shows provider data only, never names or contact details. Available for Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, France, Norway, Slovakia, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates and Oman, and other Peppol countries.

Invoice viewer

Open an e-invoice file (UBL, CII, XRechnung, ZUGFeRD / Factur-X PDF, Peppol BIS, EHF, PINT AE) and read it like a normal invoice. The file never leaves your browser. Labels in English, Dutch, French, German and Norwegian; UAE invoices get an extra "UAE details" panel.

Deadline checker

Answer a few questions (turnover, VAT status, type of business) and get your dates, each with its legal source.

Provider catalogue

Providers per country with their published prices and free plans, each with a link to the vendor's page and the date we checked it. Where prices are "on request", we say so.

Monthly market-share report

Which e-invoicing providers are winning, by country, measured on the live Peppol network. About the report.

How we work

  • Sourced. Every obligation, date and price links to an official or vendor source, with the date we checked it.
  • Neutral. Paid placements are labelled "Ad" or "Featured" and never change the data, the lookup or the report.
  • Private. The viewer runs locally; the lookup sends only the ID you type.
  • No reviews we didn't collect. We don't publish invented ratings or testimonials.

Found an error or outdated price? Every page has a "report a correction" link.
