Peppol ID schemes by country
A company's address on the Peppol network is its Peppol ID: a four-digit scheme code, a colon and a number,
for example 0208: and a Belgian enterprise number. The scheme says which number follows: a company register
number, a VAT number, a tax ID or a special e-invoicing address [1]. If you send to the right company under the wrong
scheme, the invoice doesn't arrive.
The table lists the schemes of the 21 countries we measure every month, main scheme first, with the number of IDs listed in the Peppol Directory [2]. Check an ID opens the lookup with the scheme already filled in: add the number and check.

UAE: turn a TRN into a Peppol ID
In the UAE, the Peppol ID is 0235 followed by the 10-digit TIN, and the TIN is the first 10 digits of the 15-digit TRN. In a VAT group, each member uses its own TRN, not the group representative's. Source: UAE Electronic Invoicing Guidelines v1.1 (Ministry of Finance).
