Use E-Invoice Map in Claude, ChatGPT and other AI assistants

E-Invoice Map has a free, read-only connection for AI assistants. Once you add it, your assistant can answer questions such as "when does e-invoicing become mandatory in Germany?" or "what does validation error BR-CO-10 mean?" from the same sourced data as this website, and it links you to the page behind each answer. There is nothing to sign up for. It uses the open Model Context Protocol (MCP).

Connect

The address is:

https://einvoicemap.com/api/v1/mcp

Claude (claude.ai and the Claude apps). Open Settings, then Connectors, choose "Add custom connector", enter the address above and give it a name. No login is needed. Then switch the connector on in a chat.

Claude Desktop (configuration file). Add the server under mcpServers in claude_desktop_config.json. This example uses the mcp-remote helper, which lets a desktop app talk to an online server:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "e-invoice-map": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://einvoicemap.com/api/v1/mcp"]
    }
  }
}

Other assistants. Any assistant or tool that supports remote MCP servers over HTTP can use the same address. The server needs no login, key or cookie.

What your assistant can ask

Tool What it answers
deadlines Dates when e-invoicing becomes mandatory, for one country or all, each with its official source and the date we checked it.
providers The providers we track in a country, in alphabetical order, with a link to each profile.
provider One provider's profile: what it can do, formats, languages, free plan and prices, each with its source.
explain_validation_error A common validation error such as BR-CO-10, in plain language: what it means, usual causes and how to fix it.
foreign_supplier_scope Whether a supplier with no establishment in a country must e-invoice there (47 countries, with sources).
directory_counts How many businesses the public Peppol Directory lists per country, and the recent change.
lookup_access_point Which access-point provider receives a company's e-invoices, for an identifier you type. Provider details only.

Every answer carries a source line and the link to the page that shows the same facts.

What it does not do

  • It is read-only. It cannot change anything, and it does not send e-invoices.
  • Providers are listed alphabetically by product name. Payment never changes the order, and ads and affiliate links are not part of the answers (how we rank).
  • It gives no market-share figures and no list of a provider's customers. The lookup answers for one identifier you give it, and it shows provider details only, no names or contact data.
  • The answers are information, not legal or tax advice. Check the linked official source before you rely on a date.

Limits

The lookup tool contacts the Peppol network live, so it has a daily allowance: 20 lookups per connection address and 300 across all assistants together, per UTC day. Answers we already hold from the last 24 hours do not count against the shared allowance. When an allowance is used up, the tool says so and points to the free lookup on this site. The other tools are not limited beyond normal fair use.

Sources and credit

Dates, rules and provider facts link to their official or vendor sources and show the date we checked them (how we work). Directory counts come from the Peppol Directory (OpenPeppol AISBL); please credit it when you quote them. See also the deadlines by country, the validation errors, the foreign-supplier table and the network statistics.
