Doccle
Many Belgians know Doccle as a digital mailbox for bills and documents. For sole traders, Doccle also offers a Peppol solution: receiving is free, sending needs paid DocclePro [1].

| Free plan | Yes, for receiving purchase invoices over Peppol [1] |
| Paid | DocclePro: EUR 4 a month excl. VAT, billed yearly [1] |

| On the FPS Finance list | Yes: "Doccle for the self-employed" (receive; sending listed as "planned") and "Doccle Omnichannel Peppol" for companies [2] |
How does sending work?
Doccle is not invoicing software. You keep making invoices the way you do now; Doccle converts your invoice and sends it over Peppol [1]. Handy if you invoice in Word or Excel today and want to keep it that way, but you get no quotes, payment reminders or bookkeeping.
Who it suits
- Sole traders who mainly need to receive (for example because they invoice consumers): that's free.
- People who send few invoices and want to keep their current way of invoicing.
What to watch
- When an existing invoice is converted, the result depends on the data in your invoice. The FPS Finance recommends creating invoices in structured form from the start, because converting from PDF (OCR) remains error-prone [4].
- According to Doccle, the DocclePro fee qualifies for the 120% increased cost deduction [1]. That rule applies to subscriptions of small SMEs and the self-employed in tax periods 2024 to 2027 [3].
- Is your enterprise number already registered with another Peppol provider? That registration has to be released first: see check your Peppol registration.
