Slovakia Peppol ID lookup

Enter a Slovak business's DIČ (10 digits), IČ DPH (SK + 10 digits) or IČO (8 digits). Spaces and the SK prefix are removed automatically. You can also paste a full Peppol ID, such as 0245: followed by the DIČ.

Look up a company

What are you sending?
Whose number is this?

Only the number you type is sent. We show the e-invoicing provider only: no names, no contact data. Name search asks the official register directly from your browser; we never see or keep the name.

Which number to use

In Slovakia, e-invoices are addressed by the DIČ, the tax identification number. The Slovak Peppol Authority (the Financial Directorate) requires every Slovak business on the network to be registered as 0245: plus its ten-digit DIČ [1]. That is the number to use.

Number What it is Peppol scheme How we use it
DIČ Tax identification number, 10 digits; the first digit shows the type of person (for example 1 a natural person, 2 a legal person, 7 a VAT group) [2] 0245 Looked up as 0245:DIČ first
IČ DPH VAT number, SK + 10 digits 9950 We look up the 10 digits as a DIČ (0245), then as a VAT number (9950)
IČO Company registration number, 8 digits [2] 0158 Looked up as 0158:IČO; few businesses are registered this way

For most Slovak VAT payers the 10 digits of the IČ DPH are the same as the DIČ, but not always: if the result says "not registered", ask the business for its DIČ. A business registered only under the older 9950 VAT scheme must also be registered under 0245: the Financial Administration says Slovak businesses must use 0245:DIČ, not 9950 [3].

What the lookup shows

  1. A verdict: whether the business can receive an invoice, a credit note or a self-billing invoice over Peppol today.
  2. The Peppol provider (access point) that receives for it, with a link to its profile on our list of certified providers when we have one. The Financial Administration notes that the public Peppol tools do not show the provider's name directly [3]; our lookup reads it from the provider's certificate.
  3. The exact Peppol ID to put in your invoicing software, with a copy button.
  4. Technical details (folded): the address register (SMP) holding the registration, the certificate's expiry date and every document type the business accepts. Results are cached for up to 24 hours.

Where Slovak registrations live

Slovakia uses one central address register (SMP) for all Slovak businesses: every certified provider must register its Slovak customers there [1]. A business can have only one provider for receiving, the one recorded in that register; it can use several for sending [3]. When a business switches provider, the old one must remove it from the central register within 3 working days [1], and the move happens without a gap in receiving [3].

Each registration is tied to a token that the business gets when it chooses its provider on the Financial Administration portal, so a provider can only register a business that selected it [4]. If your DIČ is registered with a provider you never chose, the Financial Administration tells you to contact that provider and ask for the registration to be removed [3].

Good to know

  • No result is not proof of non-compliance. Registrations keep arriving before 1 January 2027, and a business may join late. The sender's duty is met once the e-invoice is sent through a certified provider, even if delivery fails because the customer is not registered [3].
  • Public bodies and non-profits are addressed by their DIČ too. A body without a DIČ cannot receive e-invoices until the tax office gives it one [3].
  • We show no names or contact details and offer no reverse search.
