Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 · Error: the invoice is rejected
PEPPOL-EN16931-R121 The price base quantity is zero or negative
What it means
The base quantity (BT-149) says how many units the price is for, for example 1 or 100. When it is given, it must be greater than zero. On this invoice it is 0 or below.
Common causes
- The field is filled with 0 because no value was set, instead of being left out.
- A credit or return line puts the minus sign on the base quantity instead of the invoiced quantity.
How to fix it
Leave the base quantity out (it then counts as 1) or set it to a positive number. Show returns with a negative invoiced quantity.
Who fixes it: The sender's invoicing software.
