PINT AE (United Arab Emirates) · Error: the invoice is rejected
ibr-154-ae The UAE transaction type code is missing or not 8 zeros and ones
What it means
PINT AE invoices carry an invoice transaction type code (BTAE-02, in UBL the ProfileExecutionID): exactly 8 characters, each 0 or 1. Each position flags one transaction type from the official list, in list order (for example the first for free trade zone, the last for exports). 00000000 means none applies. This invoice's value is missing or malformed.
Common causes
- The field is not sent at all.
- Fewer or more than 8 characters, for example 0 or 1 alone.
- Other characters, such as spaces, letters or a code name instead of the flags.
How to fix it
Send an 8-character string of 0s and 1s, setting a 1 in each position whose transaction type applies, in the order of the official code list.
Who fixes it: The sender's invoicing software or its accredited service provider (ASP).
