PINT AE (United Arab Emirates) · Error: the invoice is rejected
aligned-ibrp-001-ae The specification identifier isn't the UAE PINT one
What it means
A UAE e-invoice must declare the PINT AE specification in its specification identifier (BT-24; in UBL the CustomizationID). It has to start with urn:peppol:pint:billing-1@ae-1, or urn:peppol:pint:selfbilling-1@ae-1 for self-billing. This invoice has another value.
Common causes
- The software still sends the European Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 identifier.
- The generic PINT identifier is used without the @ae-1 part.
- A typo or extra space in the identifier.
How to fix it
Set the identifier to the PINT AE value (billing or self-billing). Your accredited service provider can confirm the exact value it expects.
Who fixes it: The sender's invoicing software or its accredited service provider (ASP).
