PEPPOL-EN16931-R001 The business process (ProfileID) is missing
What it means
A Peppol invoice must say which business process it belongs to (business process type, BT-23; in UBL the ProfileID element). This invoice has none.
Common causes
- The file was made for another format (for example plain EN 16931 or a national format) and sent as Peppol BIS without changes.
- The export template of the invoicing software leaves out the ProfileID.
How to fix it
Add the ProfileID for Peppol billing, normally urn:fdc:peppol.eu:2017:poacc:billing:01:1.0.
Who fixes it: The sender's invoicing software or its Peppol access point; the sender asks the software provider to fix the export.
