XRechnung (Germany) · Warning: the invoice still passes
BR-DE-21 The specification identifier isn't the XRechnung one (warning)
What it means
The specification identifier (BT-24) should name the XRechnung standard, for XRechnung 3.0 urn:cen.eu:en16931:2017#compliant#urn:xeinkauf.de:kosit:xrechnung_3.0. This invoice carries a different identifier. It is a warning; it matters when the receiver, such as a German public portal, requires XRechnung.
Common causes
- The file is a ZUGFeRD/Factur-X or Peppol BIS invoice checked against the XRechnung rules.
- An older XRechnung version (2.x) is still declared.
- A typo in the identifier.
How to fix it
If the receiver needs XRechnung, generate the invoice in XRechnung 3.0 with its exact identifier. If not, the warning can be ignored.
Who fixes it: The sender's invoicing software (the chosen output format).
