Your bank's approved e-invoicing platform in France: Shine, Qonto, Crédit Agricole, BNP, CIC…

Your bank can be the easiest route to e-invoicing: the French tax authority (DGFiP) lists banks among the intermediaries through which a business can designate its receiving platform [1]. But a bank is not necessarily an approved platform itself: often it resells a partner's solution. Here is who is behind each offer, from the banks' pages checked on 6 October 2026, cross-checked with the DGFiP's official list [2].

The table

What to look at

1. Is the platform approved, and which one? Shine, Qonto and Euro-Information (Crédit Mutuel / CIC) appear under their own names on the official list [2]. For the others the partner is the approved platform: Kolecto for Crédit Agricole and LCL, OneUp for BNP Paribas, iPaidThat for BPCE [2]. La Banque Postale's professionals page names no partner; its companies page presents a Docaposte / SERES offer [14].

2. Do you have to be a customer? Shine's and Qonto's offers work without a paid account [3][4]. BNP Paribas, Banque Populaire / Caisse d'Epargne and Crédit Mutuel / CIC require you to be a customer using remote banking [5][7][8].

3. What if you switch banks? You can change approved platform at any time [17], but your directory entry follows the platform, not the bank. Before leaving, note which platform receives your invoices and arrange the switch with the new one.

4. Receiving only, or issuing too? For SMEs and micro-businesses receiving is already mandatory; issuing becomes mandatory by 1 September 2027 at the latest. A bank's "free receiving" offer may be enough today, as long as you check what issuing will cost in 2027.

And the neobanks?

Shine and Qonto chose to become approved platforms themselves and offer e-invoicing free of charge, even without a paid account [3][4]. Some invoicing tools, by contrast, require opening a business account for their cheapest plan: check the conditions in our comparison.
